Goodlettsville Police said a woman shot her ex-boyfriend who was reportedly found under her bed on Tuesday.

Police said it happened in the 200 block of Shevel Drive about 3 p.m. Police said the woman had a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, who had three violations against that order.

Police said the woman shot the man in self-defense and will likely not face charges.

The man, whose identity has not been released, suffered non-life threatening injuries. He will be charged on outstanding warrants and more charges are pending. He's being interviewed and will report to jail Tuesday evening, police said.
