Goodlettsville man identified as victim in I-24 crash with UPS truck
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Metro Nashville Police have identified the man who died after crashing into a UPS truck Monday night as 32-year-old Brandon Boles.
Police say Boles was driving on I-24 westbound at the Bell Road overpass when he crashed into the back of a UPS truck stopped in construction-related traffic.
Based on the investigation, police believe bell did not apply the breaks on his 2010 Hyundai Sonata prior to crashing into the truck. Boles was found to be wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Boles was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center following the crash but died from his injuries. The UPS driver was uninjured.
Investigators say there is no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement at the scene.
