UPDATE: Maricsa Beltran-Lopez was found safe in Philadelphia, according to the TBI on Saturday night. German Rodriguez Top is in custody.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an endangered child alert for missing 16-year-old Maricsa Beltran-Lopez from Nashville.

An arrest warrant with a kidnapping charge has been issued against German Rodriguez, 19, after Metro Police say he picked up his ex-girlfriend, with whom he has a child, Thursday afternoon at McGavock High School.

Beltran-Lopez reported to police last Friday that Rodriguezz had been harassing her, following her, and showing up at school. Her family told investigators they made phone contact with her Thursday night, but the conversation ended quickly and her cell phone has since been shut off.

Beltran-Lopez and Rodriguezz were last seen in the Tri-Cities area Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Comfort Inn and Suites South on Fairlane Drive in Kingsport. A trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol went to the motel, but Beltran-Lopez and Rodriguezz had already left when he arrived.

Beltran-Lopez and Rodriguezz are believed to be traveling in a 2000 Honda Civic bearing Tennessee tag W0789X.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts has been urged to call the Emergency Communications Center at 615-862-8600 or 1-800-TBI-FIND.
