NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The historic Total Solar Eclipse blanketed middle Tennessee on Monday
The partial eclipse started just before noon before on Aug. 21. The moon completely blocked out the sun around 1:27 p.m. on Aug. 21.
Nashville was among the areas with a front-row-seat to the eclipse. The moon casted a shadow smaller than the Earth, meaning only those areas in the shadow will see the eclipse.
