(FOX 17 News)

A freeze warning and frost advisory have been issued for Tuesday as cold temperatures continue in middle Tennessee.

Some folks woke up to flurries Monday morning and temperatures plummeted overnight.

Temperatures should fall to freezing or just below freezing east of Interstate 65 Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, temperatures will be above freezing for most areas west of I-65, but winds and mostly clear skies will allow frost to develop.

The freeze warning and frost advisory is in effect from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. Tuesday.
