FRANKLIN, Tenn.--Franklin Police are searching for a group of auto burglars targeting Franklin neighborhoods.

In a home surveillance video released by police on Wednesday (see above), the burglars can be seen in the Falcon Creek subdivision when three of the suspects jump out of a light-colored Honda CRV.

The suspects then start checking car doors for valuables. The Sunday morning burglaries resulted in the thieves getting away with purses, wallets, electronics and a Glock 9mm left inside an unlocked car.

Police are urging residents to remove valuables, especially guns, every night.

Anyone with information on the thefts is asked to call police at 615-794-4000.
