Flood warning remains in effect for areas in middle Tennessee, schools to reopen Wednesday


3:45 p.m. UPDATE:

A flood warning remains in effect for several areas in middle Tennessee until 7:45 p.m.

Overnight storms caused flooded roads, especially in Davidson and Rutherford Counties.

Rutherford County Schools will be in session on Wednesday, but officials are reminding folks to beware of roads that may still be flooded.

Cheatham County Schools will be open Wednesday, with the exception of Kingston Springs Elementary and Daycare.

NASHVILLE, TN - A FLOOD WARNING from the National Weather Service is in effect for multiple counties in Middle Tennessee.

Davidson, Rutherford, Wilson, Williamson Counties are all under a Flood Warning until 7:45 a.m.

The overnight storms has caused power outages throughout the Mid-State.

I-24 and I-40 is currently shut down due to flooding in the area.
