NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol said two tractor trailers crashed and caught on fire Wednesday night, causing troopers to close I-24 East in Robertson County.
Preliminary information from the THP said at least one person was injured after the two tractor trailers crashed and one caught on fire. Troopers did not elaborate as to who was injured or how many people were injured.
I-24 East was closed at exit 19 just past Pleasant View/Hwy 49 and was expected to clear by 3 a.m. on Thursday. Drivers were asked to find alternate routes.
THP is working with state and local law enforcement.
