MT. JULIET, Tenn. -- A brood of ducklings is rescued by Mt. Juliet Fire Department.
MJFD personnel were dispatched Saturday to a drain behind Best Buy to rescue five baby ducks. Prior to the rescue, the officers checked the air quality before going into the drain.
Water from the fire truck was used to flush the ducklings out, the fire department reports. Then they placed a net on the other end to catch them.
The ducklings were reunited with their waiting mother.
