3 caught, 1 at large after Dollar General shooting, police chase in Dickson

UPDATE: The suspects have been identified by the Dickson County Sheriff's Office. Damario Davis, Derrick Watson, and Tiara Long were taken into custody, charged with facilitation of especially aggravated robbery, and currently held in the Dickson County Jail. The shooter was identified as Sean Caldwell,19, and has warrants obtained for attempted first degree murder, he remains at large.

UPDATE: (9:30 p.m.)

A massive search is still underway for a man suspected in a shooting at Dollar General who led police on a chase and fled.

The Dickson County Sheriff's Office said one person was injured in the shooting at Dollar General at 4610 Highway 70 late Monday afternoon.

The suspect vehicle was located by a Dickson Police Department officer which fled when the officer tried to initiate a traffic stop.

The chase continued east on I-40. At some point, the driver stopped and let one suspect out of the car who fled on foot near I-40/I-840.

Other agencies then joined in the chase of the suspect vehicle. Kingston Police deployed spike strips which ended the chase and three of four suspects were taken into custody.

The fourth suspect, described as a black man with cornrows who was wearing a dark shirt, is still at large. Folks in the area are asked to stay alert and do not approach the suspect if seen, but call 911.

Both the scene at Dollar General in Tennessee City and the scene where the chase ended near the Cheatham County/Davidson County line are still being processed.

There's no word on the condition of the shooting victim, who was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Authorities are searching for a suspect on the run following a shooting at Dollar General in Dickson County.

As of 6:50 p.m., multiple agencies are searching near I-40 EB at the Cheatham County/Davidson County line.

Residents in the area of I-840 and I-40 are asked to be on the lookout for a black male wearing a dark shirt who has cornrows.

Tennessee Highway Patrol is assisting with a helicopter in the area.

Communications has confirmed that three people have already been detained. They're all suspects in a shooting at Dollar General at 4610 Highway 70 in the Tennessee City area. There's no word on injures in that shooting.

A police chase involving Dickson Police ensued and THP assisted with spike strips.

Dickson County authorities are searching for a man wanted in a Dollar General shooting.

It happened early Monday evening at the store at 4610 Highway 70 in the Tennessee City area.

Residents in the area of I-840 and I-40 are asked to be on the lookout for a black male wearing a dark shirt who has cornrows.

Right now, communications confirms there is a second scene on I-40 EB near the Davidson County/Cheatham County line. Lanes in the area are blocked at this time.

The incident also involved a police chase, with assistance from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Cheatham County communications said three other people have been detained in the shooting investigation.

Anyone who sees this suspect should not approach the suspect and call 911.

There's no word on injuries inside the store at this time.
