Deputies look for two suspects accused of robbing Rutherford County market at gunpoint


The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office is looking for two people accused of robbing a market near Smyrna on Friday night.

The RCSO said the suspects used two semi-automatic handguns to rob two store clerks at the Almaville Market around 7:45 p.m. Officers said the clerks were not injured.

The suspects escaped in a maroon SUV.

One suspect is described as a white man wearing blue jeans, boots and a camouflage hoodie jacket with a Tennessee Titans football logo on the chest. Deputies also said he had facial hair and a tattoo on the back of his left hand.

The second suspect was described as a white man wearing a gray or cream colored Tennessee Titans hat on inside out, a dark, long-sleeved shirt with patches of camouflage, brown pants and dark Nike shoes with red laces. Officers said he also had a mustache and tattoos on his neck and the back of both hands.
