Deadly car fire under investigation in Rutherford County

The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly vehicle fire.

It happened at about 10 a.m. Tuesday morning in at Dollar General on Lebanon Pike.

First responders found a man in the driver's seat was deceased.

Businesses in the area were inaccessible as the investigation continues.

The fire marshal's office is also investigating.
