Country artist Russell Dickerson was joined by a stranger for a magical impromptu Christmas carol at a Salvation Army Red Kettle.

It all happened at the Kroger on Edmonson Pike and Old Hickory Boulevard in Nashville.

Dickerson noticed no one was at the kettle, so he started singing "White Christmas." But little did he know, a stranger with musical pipes of his own would join in!

The result is quite the magical Christmas moment and just thing thing to get you in the spirit this time of year.

Dickerson posted the video on Facebook with the caption, "The @SalvationArmyUS "singing ringer" spot was empty, so..... this happened. 'Tis the season to be jolly and carol with strangers."
