CODE RED: Flood Watch, Flood Warning issued in Middle Tennessee, Southern Kentucky

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Flood Watches and Flood Warnings have been issued for parts of middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky on Tuesday.

In Kentucky, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning until 2 p.m. Tuesday for Todd, Trigg, Hopkins, Christian, Muhlenberg, Henderson, Daviess, Caldwell, McLean, Union, and Webster counties.

In Tennessee, a Flood Watch remains until noon Tuesday. Stewart, Montgomery, Robertson, Sumner, Macon, Clay, Pickett, Houston, Humphreys, Dickson, Cheatham, Davidson, Wilson, Trousdale, Smith, Jackson, Putnam, Overton, and Fentress counties are covered under the watch.

1"-3" inches is expected to fall on ground already saturated from previous rainfall. Street flooding will be a hazard for drivers and small streams/rivers could flood.
