Clarksville Police charged three young teenagers after viciously assaulting a 70-year-old car wash worker and stealing his pickup truck.

Police said the teens, two 14 year olds and a 13 year old, entered Super Suds Carwash along Preachers Mill Road about 10 p.m. Monday.

The teens pointed a rifle at the 70-year-old employee and the man fell during a struggle. When the victim was down, he was kicked and hit with the butt of the rifle multiple times.

While the victim was being held at gunpoint, another teenager tipped over a coin operated game machine and stole an unknown amount of money.

The victim was taken to Skyline Medical Center where he remains in stable condition.

The teens then took the victim's truck keys and fled the scene in his vehicle.

The suspects were captured on Thursday afternoon. They are all facing charges of especially aggravated robbery and theft of a motor vehicle and taken to a juvenile detention center. More charges are pending.
