Clarksville Police need the public's help in the search for a bank robber.

Police say a man walked into U.S. Bank at 3301 Ft. Campbell Blvd. at about 1:50 p.m. on Monday and handed the teller a note demanding money.

Police said the teller gave an undisclosed amount of money to the man before he fled the bank. No weapon was displayed and no one was harmed in the incident.

Police said the suspect was at the U.S. Bank in Hopkinsville an hour earlier, intending to rob that location. Video surveillance showed the suspect and a note was found with similar wording to the one given to a teller in Ft. Campbell.

The suspect is described as a black man with dreadlocks and a mustache. He stands about 5 feet 9 inches tall to 6 feet tall and weighs 150 to 180 pounds. The man was last seen wearing an orange shirt with strips and jeans.

He fled in a black SUV, possibly a Chevy, with tinted windows and headed north on Ft. Campbell Blvd.
