Campers stay overnight for free Chick-fil-A for a year
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. —
More than 100 people camped out in Murfreesboro Wednesday night for a chance at free Chick-fil-A for a year.
Chick-fil-a will open a new franchise Thursday at 2116 Memorial Blvd. It held a party Wednesday night for people who live in the zip codes surrounding the new location.
According to a release from the company, the first 100 adults through the door at 6 a.m. will win free meals for one year, which breaks down to 52 meals with each consisting of a Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich, medium waffle potato fries and a medium beverage.
The company said the camp out reached 100 people at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
People at the grand opening will be able to donate children’s books to the Boys & Girls Club of Rutherford County.
The company expects to add 100 jobs to the area. This location is owner Beau Noblitt's second stand-alone Chick-fil-A restaurant.
“After much anticipation, my team members and I can’t wait to welcome our guests to Murfreesboro’s newest Chick-fil-A restaurant,” said Noblitt. “We’re not just in the chicken business — we’re in the people business. Our goal is to provide a remarkable experience for every customer, every time, by serving food our guests can truly feel good about eating, providing sincere hospitality and being a good neighbor.”
