Body of woman found in south Nashville park
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A woman is found dead in a south Nashville park this morning.
The body of a Caucasian woman was found at Whitsett Park just before 7:30 a.m. Saturday by a bicyclist, according to Metro Nashville police. The woman had obvious signs of trauma.
Two homeless in the area tell police that they heard a man and a woman arguing in the park late Friday night. Police believe the woman may have also been homeless.
The woman's body has been taken to the coroner's office for an autopsy. She has not been identified.
