Body found along Old Hickory Boulevard, death investigation underway

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Metro Communications said crews are responding to a body that was discovered in Antioch.

The call came in at about 8 a.m. regarding a deceased person found in the 120000 block of Old Hickory Boulevard off of Hobson Pike.

Police on scene tell FOX 17 News that a male was found on the side of the road by Metro Public Works employees who were mowing grass at the time.

The death investigation is ongoing and the roadway remains closed.
