Nearly 7,000 of America's veterans have tested positive for COVID-19 at Veterans Affairs facilities and 435 have died from the disease.
The Department of Veterans Affairs reports as of Monday, April 27, there have been 6,943 positive cases across the nation.
In Tennessee, cases have reached 61 at VA facilities with two deaths. In Kentucky, there have been 48 positive cases with 3 recorded deaths.
Facilities in New York have been the hardest hit with 53 deaths at New York HHS and 46 deaths at the Bronx VAMC.
