HEBRON, Ky.--Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos was present for the ground breaking of a new Amazon Prime Air hub in Kentucky which will cost $1.5 billion.
Slated to open in 2021, the hub is located at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport located southwest of Cincinnati on the Kentucky side of the border.
According to Bezos, the hub will be 3 million square feet and is expected to create 2,000 jobs. Cincinnati.com reports there will also be a 250,000-square-foot loading dock. The hub will help get customers packages faster and could park 100 planes.
