145 grams of marijuana edibles among items found in drug bust in Nashville

A man was arrested after drugs were found in a home on Woodberry Drive.

According to a Metro Police affidavit, narcotics detectives conducted a controlled buy on May 10 and the confidential informant was able to purchase suboxone from the suspect.

On May 16, a search warrant was executed on the suspects's Woodberry Drive residence.

A narcotic sale, 145 grams of marijuana edibles, and a pistol magazine with live rounds was found during the search.

A postal service worker delivered a package while detectives were there and after searching the package, 243 oxymorphone pills were found inside of a doll.

The suspect, who was present at the time of the search, is identified as Jarrel Stokes. Stokes admitted that the pills were delivered to him from his source in Detroit and that he owes the source $12,000 after selling all of the pills.

Stokes has been charged with felony drug offense.
