NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Fox's new show "Pitch" about the first female pitcher in the major leagues, is inspiring millions across the country, and it's not just girls getting the message, according to the cast.

The tagline of the series reads, "every once in a while a show comes along that changes the way you see the world."

"It feels wonderful, to be a part of a show that has such a strong message and can really make an impact," said Kylie Bunbury, who plays San Diego Padres pitcher Ginny Baker.

But the show isn't just impacting little girls, according to Mark-Paul Gosselar, who stars as the catcher.

"I have two daughters as well as two boys," Gosselar said. "I think it's an equally important message for the boys to not limit their sisters just based on their gender."

"Pitch" premieres Thursday September 22 on Fox.
