This weekend you can see two different plays at the summer season of Shakespeare in the Park. If you like comedy you can see Comedy of Errors and if you like tragedy you can see Macbeth. Comedy of Errors plays on Saturdays and Sundays, and the set and costumes are all Nashville-themed. Macbeth is played in the round, on Thursdays and Fridays. Denice Hicks, the Executive Artistic Director of the Nashville Shakespeare Festival tells Fox17, "Doing any sort of performance outside is exciting. I always tell our actors the sky is the limit, just play big, play out. But really for the audience it's a great experience because here they are sitting in this gorgeous park, with stars, a full moon this weekend, there's been meteor showers, and it's just such a beautiful experience, to be here and then to get a play of this quality is a great bonus I think." The show starts at 7:00 p.m. each night. It’s family friendly and you can pack a picnic or buy dinner from one of the food trucks at the park. Admission is free, but they do ask for a $10 donation.

The Full Moon Pickin' Party returns to Warner Park this Friday night. This is an outdoor bluegrass and beer event, featuring some of the best pickers in the south. $25 gets you 4 beers and a night of live music.

The Nashville Sounds play Friday night at 7:05 p.m. And be sure to stick around after the game for Friday night fireworks sponsored by Fox17.

On Saturday morning you can start your weekend off with craft beer and yoga at the Black Abbey Brewery. $30 gets you an hour-long yoga class and a pint of beer. Proceeds benefit Nashville’s Hope Clinic for Women. Yoga starts at 9:30 a.m. and the party goes to noon.

The Musicians Corner concert series returns to Centennial Park this weekend. This is a free outdoor concert series that runs May, June, August, and September. From 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. you can enjoy live music, food trucks, a beer garden, and a kids zone.

Belmont mansion is hosting a fundraiser Saturday called Dueling Cocktails. You can sample a variety of original cocktail recipes and then vote for your favorite. The party goes from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $125 and proceeds will help with restoration projects at the mansion.

You can head to Centennial Park on Saturday night for the Big Band Dance. They’ll have live music and free dance lessons from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. And if you work up an appetite there will be food trucks on location.

And the Grassy Knoll Movie Nights returns to Five Points this Sunday. So once a month, from now through October, you can head to Bongo Jana on 11th street, for an outdoor movie watching party. Admission is $5, the movie starts at sunset.

Jazz on the Cumberland returns to Cumberland Park this weekend. It’s on Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission is free. If you can’t make it this weekend, there are two more dates coming up this year
