Businesses, vendors, contractors take part in St. Jude Dream Home tradition

A very special tradition is taking place at this year's St. Jude Dream Home.

It's the floor signing where vendors, contractors and businesses that have helped with this home leave their messages for the person who will ultimately win it.

For the first time, the Dream Home is in Mt. Juliet this year. It's built in honor of this former St. Jude patient.

“It's how I was able to be used for something greater,” Mallory Corzine, this year’s St. Jude honoree, said. “Had I not gone through what I went through then I wouldn't be able to do what I'm pursuing today, so this wasn't just a struggle in my life, this is what shaped my life.”

Corzine is currently in college studying to be a child life specialist at St. Jude.

The house opens next month and you can get tickets now by calling 1-800-746-6713.

Fox 17 is giving the Dream Home away on June 25.
