Fox 17 Week of Giving: Nashville Predators

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Rebecca King, Senior Communications Director for the Nashville Predators joined FOX 17 This Morning to talk Ronald McDonald House and the team's involvement with the charity.

King says players are very involved in supporting the home, from baking cookies to visiting with children.

Donations can be made during the Calls for Kids telethon to be held on Saturday, April 22 from 6-9 p.m. The number to call is 615-322-7900 or 866-766-9933 or text "Calls for Kids 17" to 71777.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville provides a 32-bedroom residence for family members and parents looking for a place to stay close to their sick child. In 2015 alone, the home served 608 families and has served 13,960 families since 1991, when the house opened.
