Nashville mom accused of bringing two children to carjacking
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--A 20-year-old Nashville mom is facing charges of aggravated robbery and child endangerment after allegedly bringing her two small children to a carjacking.
According to the arrest affidavit for Samantha Hardy, the victim met with Hardy on Sunday in an alley between Pennock Avenue and Stainback Avenue. The victim says he met with Hardy, who had her two small children with her and "began to put a carseat in the back seat of his vehicle" when two black males approached him with a metal rod.
The victim says the two men started beating him with the rod while Hardy yelled "hurry up, hurry up!" The two assailants and Hardy then jumped into the victim's car after taking his wallet, cell phone, and keys before fleeing the scene in his car. Police say the victim suffered a black eye, lacerations on his legs and back.
Hardy is being held on a total of $90,000 bond for the two charges.
