GUIDE: Where to watch FREE concerts at CMA Fest in Nashville

Fans enjoy performances from some of Country’s most established acts from the ’80s, ’90s and ’00s on the Budweiser Forever Country Stage during CMA Fest in Nashville in 2017.

CMA fest is coming up fast and for anyone who either doesn’t have the funds to get tickets or only wants a small taste of what the festival is like, can enjoy one of Nashville’s largest event of the year without making a dent in their bank account.

1. Cracker Barrel Country Roads Stage event "Rock With Us" at Ascend Amphitheater

  • A hot spot to enjoy free live music is at Cracker Barrel Country Roads Stage event "Rock With Us."
  • At downtown Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater from June 7 to June 9, free concerts start each evening at 7 p.m. Performing artists include Clare Dunn, Cole Swindell, Lee Brice and many more.
  • Thursday night the lineup opens with Chase Bryant then Craig Campbell, Lindsay Ell, Everette, Chase Rice, Runaway June, and Granger Smith follow him for a night full of country music.
  • Then Friday, Lee Brice headlines kicking off the evening. Other artists such as Clare Dunn, Tyler Farr, Maddie & Tae, and Drake White and The Big Fire are set to hit stage that night as well.
  • Finally, for the last night of the festival on Saturday night, the show will open with Cole Swindell later joined by Cale Dodds, Morgan Evans, Michael Ray, and Tegan Marie.
  • Cracker Barrel presents the event Rock With Us as a way to raise money for the CMA foundation raising $15,000 in 2017 they are hoping to make the same impact this year.

2. Chevy Riverfront Stage

  • Starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday morning, June 7 John Pardi is set to open at Chevy Riverfront stage. The rest of the day will feature other artists including: Lauren Alaina, Lindsay Ell, Jordan Davis, Lee Brice, Carly Pearce, Frankie Ballard, Drake White and The Big Fire, and LOCASH.
  • Friday June 8 will feature artists: CAM, Cadillac Three, Russell Dickerson, Aaron Watson, Eric Paslay, Chris Lane, Hunter Hayes, Gavin DeGraw, LANGO, and Granger Smith will finish off the day at 5p.m.
  • Saturday will also be full of country music stars such as: Parmalee, Raelynn, Chase Bryant, William Michael Morgan, Cassadee Pope, Devin Dawson, Corey Smith, Dylan Scott, Tyler Farr, and Michael Ray.
  • Finally, for the closing night of CMA fest you can enjoy Maddie & Tae, Canaan Smith, Home Free, Walker Hayes, A Thousand Horses, Morgan Wallen, Scotty McCreery, High Valley, Easton Corbin and Craig Campbell.

3. Budweiser Forever Country Stage

  • Thursday at Budweiser Forever Country Stage Billy Dean will perform at 11a.m to start of the weekend. Following him will be Shenandoah, Bellamy Brothers, Little Texas, Lonestar, Restless Heart, Terri Clark, and Lorrie Morgan.
  • Friday June 8 Wade Hays will open at 11a.m. then the day will continue with Keith Anderson, Ty Herndon, Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers, Michelle Wright, Heidi Newfield, Darryl Worley, and Lee Roy Parnell.
  • Saturday the say will kick off with Tracy Lawerence hitting the stage at 11a.m. then followed by Mila Mason, John Berry, Jamie O'Neal, George Ducas, and then finally Forever Country, Never Forgotten will end the night.
  • The fourth and final day of the festival is Sunday June 10. Terry McBride is set to open the stage with Andy Griggs, EXILE, Mark Wills, David Ball, Joe Diffie, Mark Collie and BlackHawk following later that day.

4. Maui Jim Broadway Stage at Hard Rock Cafe

  • Thursday Brett Kissel opens up Maui Jim Broadway Stage at Hard Rock Cafe. Davisson Brothers Band, Brennley Brown, Noah Guthrie, Levi Hummon, Stephanie Quayle, Payton Smith, Drew Parker, Faren Rachels, Ray Fulcher, Trea Landon, and Adam Craig.
  • Friday Tegan Marie, Kalie Shorr, Austin Burke, Hayley Orrantia, Carter Winter, Travis Denning, Jordan Rager, Logan Brill and Sweet Tea Trio.
  • Saturday June 9 Natalie Stovall, Jeffery East, Temecula Road, Ryan Beaver, Filmore, Scooter Brown Band, Restless Road, Tyler Rich, and Tyminski
  • Sunday June 10 Brandon Ray, Hannah Ellis, Hudson Moore, 17 Memphis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Meghan Patrick, Josh Mirenda, The Last Bandoleros, and Adam Sanders.

5. Nashville Acoustic Corner Stage

  • Thursday: Riley Roth, Steel Union, Parker McKay, Max Camp, Sarah Allison Turner, Matt Stell, Hannah Dasher, Austin Jenckes, Steven Lee Olsen, and finally Travlrs
  • Friday: Livy Jeanne, Erin Enderlin, Tom O'Connor, Spencer Crandall, Jordyn Mallory, Seaforth, Jenny Tolman, Ben Danaher, Jake Rose, and Szlachetka
  • Saturday: Madison Kozak, Baylou, House Whiskey, Sons of Daughters, Dallas Caroline, Tara Thompson, Kendell Marvel, Ray Scott, Ruthie Collins, and Kenton Bryant.
