A shooting at a restaurant in the Salemtown area of Nashville has left one person dead.
A shooting took place at Roasted on the 600 block of Garfield Street at around 3 p.m. Sunday during Easter brunch.
One person died in the shooting, said police. Allen Beachem, 33, died during an altercation with the alleged shooter that escalated, police said.
There were five gunshot victims who all have non-life-threatening injuries, said police.
One person also received a minor injury during the incident, and a pregnant woman had a panic attack, police said.
The suspected gunman is identified by police as 46-year-old convicted felon Anton Rucker. His past charges include aggravated assault, drug and gun charges.
He left the scene in a Mercedes GLS 450 which was found Sunday night near 26th Ave. N. and Jefferson Street.

Mayor Freddie O'Connell posted a statement after the shooting on X.
O'Connell continues to address gun violence in his statement. See the following:
"We must continue doing everything in our power at the local level to limit the likelihood and impact of gun violence," O'Connell wrote. "We are continuing to increase police capacity, invest in community safety, and working to ensure dispossession of those who should not legally possess firearms."
Rucker is being sought for the homicide at Roasted Salemtown, Metro Police says. Detectives are continuing the search for Rucker at this time.
