Thanks to our weak cold front passing through, the week will not be as hot as the past week with highs in the upper 90s and triple digit heat index values. Instead, we will see temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s. Heat index values will still be hot in the mid to upper 90s. A few storms will be possible in the afternoon along the Plateau and for those closer to the Alabama border. Tuesday and Wednesday look to be fairly quiet with little to no rainfall expected. Better chances for rain will arrive by the end of the week.
MONDAY: Partly sunny a few afternoon storms. High: 92
TUESDAY: Mostly Sunny. High: 91
