The cold front will be pushing into the area quickly bringing the rain and dropping the temps.
Most areas will see anywhere from half an inch to a little more than an inch by late tonight.
The next opportunity for heavy rain will come this weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
An additional 1-2 inches of rain is possible, along with a few strong storms Saturday night. We'll continue to monitor this weekend.
We will have to watch for river/creek flooding during this time as waterways are already fairly full.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.
