NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Two 19-year-olds steal a cache of weapons, as well as cars from Nashville businesses for future robberies.

An alarm at The Nashville Armory at around 1:30 a.m. sounded Sunday helping police catch two burglars in the act, according to the police report. The two suspects immediately dropped the backpacks they were carrying and ran. Police briefly chased them before the suspects surrendered.

Surveillance video in the store shows both, Khalil Brown and Jonathon Steele, entering and taking firearms valued at $9,600 from various displays. The also took $1,500 in ammunition.

During the interview, Brown implicated the two in a robbery the night before at the Firestone Auto Repair on Murfreesboro Pike. They stole three cars, which Brown tells police they were going to use for future robberies.

Brown and Steele are due in court Thursday.
