Suspect in Nashville Plane Diversion Bonds Out of Jail

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A woman who allegedly caused a plane diversion over the weekend at Nashville International Airport is arrested, but has bonded out.

The American Airlines, Boston to Dallas flight landed in Nashville around 9 p.m. Saturday after the incident. Mary Lentz, 55, is being accused of four counts of assault, including of an officer.

More details in the incident are expected to be released later today. It is unknown at this time what prompted the altercation.

Lentz, of New Mexico, according to the Associated Press, bonded out of jail on $30,000 at around 6 p.m. Sunday. She is due in court on August 20.
