NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A man set a woman on fire in Davidson County on Sunday during an altercation at her home.

The suspect, 63-year-old Harold Lunsford, set the female victim, with whom he used to live, on fire after having an argument about her boyfriend's dog dying, according to the affidavit. Lunsford sprayed an aerosol can of starter fluid on her, then took his cigarette lighter and set her on fire.

The victim suffered burns on her chest, arms, neck, and face.

Lunsford was pulled over by Metro police shortly after leaving and taken into custody. He is charged with attempted reckless homicide.
