U.S. Reps. Black, Blackburn Win Republican Primaries

With 77 percent of the vote in, incumbent U.S. Rep. Diane Black (R-District 6) won her primary with 77 percent of the vote against Jerry Lowery who received 23 percent.

With 258 of 279 districts reporting, incumbent Marsha Blackburn won her U.S. House District 7 Republican primary against Jacob Brimm.

With 100 percent of the vote in, incumbent Jim Vaughn won the Sumner County Commission seat for District 6 with 43 percent of the vote. Opponents Kevin Pomeroy received 35 percent and Yvonne Malone received 22 of the vote.

With 100 percent of the vote in, incumbent Courtney Rogers won the State House District 45 primary with 61 percent of the vote against Len Silverman who received 39 percent.
