Woman with Mental Disabilities Sets Fire to Donelson House, $40K Damage

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A woman with severe mental disabilities is jailed after setting a Donelson house on fire.

Two caregivers were locked out of the house on Lorna Drive by 26-year-old Takeisha O'Hara Monday night when she became angry, according to the affidavit. O'Hara burned papers and books on top of the couch.

When firefighters arrived, there were heavy fire conditions. No one was injured.

The house received an estimated $40,000 worth of damage. The living room received heavy fire damage. The rest of the house suffered extensive smoke and heat damage.

O'Hara is in jail on $40,000 bond for arson.
