Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. Bring plants and pets indoors for the weekend and make sure outdoor vegetation is protected as well. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

Nashville Sounds Release Virtual Ballpark Tour -- Sky Arnold

Nashville, Tenn --- The Nashville Sounds won't be moving into their new ballpark until April 2015 but Tuesday the team released a virtual tour of the facility.

The $65 million ball park is currently under construction in Germantown.

"I think it's gonna be the finest in Major League baseball when it's finished," said owner Frank Ward.

Ward says the new ballpark is specifically being designed to give fans more than a baseball experience.

There's a section in right field with party terraces and group seating areas and another section in the outfield with lawn seating that connects to a greenery.

"The young people who wanna come there's areas for them to socialize and still enjoy an evening out in the summer," said Ward.

Those summer evenings wouldn't be the same without the Nashville Sounds' trademark guitar scoreboard.

The new version will be big enough its display is equal to 860 32 inch television screens.

"To not bring that over to the new facility would be criminal on our part," said Ward.
