NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A janitor who burglarized the American Red Cross in west Nashville is behind bars this morning.

Video captures 54-year-old Reginald Perkins stealing two cell phones and a Dell Notebook, valued at $1,100, from the donation center at 2201 Charlotte Avenue on January 29, according to the affidavit. He was employed by Tri-Star Building Services to clean the first floor.

Perkins later returned one of the cell phones when confronted by a supervisor. Metro police say he admits to stealing the notebook and just one phone.

Perkins was booked last night into the Davidson County Jail for burglary. His bond is set at $25,000.
