Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

CMA Fest Stages Cost Residents Parking Spots -- Eric Alvarez

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The numerous CMA Fest stages come at a price...parking.

Roughly half of the spots at the popular Smead parking lot on 4th Avenue South were taken up to build the HGTV Roadhouse stage, and residents say that's making the already scarce parking even harder to find downtown.

"People living downtown are already struggling to find parking," Whitney Flatt said.  "Everything just gets a little bit more congested. It's kind of problematic for people who live here."
