A Warren County teacher's assistant has been arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student, according to a Friday evening press release from the Warren County Sheriff's Office.

Detectives arrested John Marsh on Friday at around 4:24 p.m. and charged him with third degree burglary and third degree sodomy.

This follows a missing person report on Thursday of a 17-year-old female South Warren High School student. The teen was located Thursday. She had reportedly left her home in Bowling Green, Ky. after a dispute with her parents over alleged inappropriate contact with an instructional assistant at the school.

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Marsh and the juvenile were involved in sexual activity in the juvenile's residence, the release said.
