Second Person Arrested in as Many Months for Selling Fake Parking Tickets Downtown

Stream WZTV Fox 17 Newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 5am and News at 9pm.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- For at least the second time this year, a man is arrested for selling false parking tickets to unsuspecting people in downtown Nashville.

Money for those expensive Central Parking spots downtown was being given to 55-year-old Danny Williams - a non-emloyee, say Metro Police. They say he was spotted Thursday night by the actual parking lot employee who took a picture of him.

Williams ran off, but was later caught. He is in the Davidson County Jail on two felony charges of criminal simulation.

In March, FOX 17 Reporter Erika Lathon brought you the story of a homeless man who was arrested doing the same thing in Nashville. CLICK HERE for that story.
