UPDATE: Police say they intercepted 16,000 additional pills at Brooksmill Circle Thursday prior the 5,000 pills. A third arrest is also made, 22-year-old Demarcus Blue. All the suspects have made $15,000 bond.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Thousands of pills are discovered at a Hermitage home.

A male and a female, 18-year-old Adrevious Rayner and 20-year-old Markuite Matthews, are in jail this morning after yesterday afternoon's bust at the 400 block of Brooks Mills Circle that yielded approximately 5,000 pills, according to the police affidavit. Both suspects deny the box containing a baggy of yellow bars found at the home is theirs, though police say they witnessed Matthews opening the package on the balcony. The pills are also not prescribed to either suspect.

The postal inspector assisted in executing the search warrant with Metro police, so it is believed that the package went through the mail system.

Police believe the pills were for resale. A person in California believed responsible for sending the pills was also arrested.
