Bounce House Swept Into Air, Two Boys Injured

Stream WZTV Fox 17 Newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 5am and News at 9pm.

"That's when it lifted off, because theyre so young and so light that it just took them with it." A bounce house in South Glens Falls New York was swept away by wind, injuring two boys who were inside.

According to residents, everything was done correctly when the house was set up, but since the children were so light, a strong gust of wind was able to pick up the house.

Two boys fell from at least 15 feet above the ground according to poststar.com. The boys, ages 5 and 6, were taken to the hospital with serious injury. One of the boys suffered a head injury after being dropped onto a car and the other landed on pavement.

The wind carried the home more than 50 feet into the air and carried it from the residence to a local school.
