Woman Accused of Stabbing Ex and New Girlfriend on MTA Bus

Nashville police have arrested a woman for allegedly stabbing her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend on an MTA bus Tuesday night, according to a department press release.

Leaddia Eubanks, 24, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

According to the press release, Eubanks saw the two victims on the bus inside of the downtown terminal at 10:20 p.m. and got on to pick a fight.  Eubanks pulled a knife and words were exchanged as the bus pulled away from the terminal. The ex-boyfriend tried to take the knife away from Eubanks and was cut on his shoulder and wrist. Lanfords current girlfriend was cut on her arm. Both were transported to St. Thomas Midtown Hospital, treated and released.

The driver stopped the bus quickly at 4th Avenue and Deaderick Street as a result of the commotion.  

Eubanks was taken into custody at the scene and is being held on a $30,000 bond.  The police departments Domestic Violence Division is leading the investigation
