Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

Man Sought in Gallatin Arson

GALLATIN, Tenn. -- A domestic situation in Gallatin leads to arson.

Police say they are looking for the homeowner, Johnny Whited, after he allegedly set a shed on fire on West Hite Street at South Water Avenue at around 2 a.m. Thursday. No one is injured.

Whited, police say, called them earlier about getting a man who lives there out of the residence. They say he unsuccessfully tried to set the trailer on fire prior to the shed going up in flames.
