FIRST ON FOX: Black Tar Heroin, Psychedelic Mushrooms Among Drugs Found in Antioch House

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Psychedelic mushrooms and black tar heroin are among the drugs discovered by Metro police at a home in Antioch.

Metro Police went to the home yesterday on Painter Drive after receiving a drug complaint. After smelling marijuana and visually seeing drugs in a protective sweep, police obtained a search warrant.

Drugs confiscated in the search, according to the affidavit:  430 grams of marijuana, 3.4 grams of mushrooms, 3.8 grams of cocaine, 26.8 grams of heroin, 16.2 grams of black tar heroin, 22.5 amphetamine/ dextroamphetamine tablets and several xanax pills. Also two loaded guns, a Bushmaster AR-15 rifle and Smith & Wesson 38 Special, as well as $9,366, were discovered.

Arrested are 22-year-old Taylor Beyrent and her boyfriend 24-year-old Andrew Price (aka Andrew Prince). She is being held on $85,000 bond, while Price is released from Davidson County Jail.

The home is within 1000 feet of Thomas Edison Elementary School.
