NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- A Murfreesboro man is facing aggravated domestic assault charges after allegedly choking his girlfriend because she refused to have a threesome.

According to the Murfreesboro Police report, James Vincent Jones and his girlfriend were staying at the Regal Inn when they went downstairs to visit with another couple which were friends of theirs. Jones followed her and confronted his girlfriend about "having sex with the other woman." According to a witness who observed the altercation through the door, Jones took her phone and began to "strangle" her. When Jones noticed witness watching, he took off, walking behind the hotel.

Police arrived and observed red marks around her neck consistent with the witness and girlfriend's statements. Jones was arrested for aggravated domestic assault and is scheduled to appear in court June 5th.
