La Vergne Car Lot Owner Arrested for Sexual Battery

The owner of Driggers Auto Sales in La Vergne was arrested Tuesday on charges of sexual battery of an employee, according to a press release from the La Vergne Police Department.

David M. Driggers, 45, is accused of touching and rubbing inappropriately a 24-year-old female employee on Tuesday. He is accused of a similar incident earlier in the week.

Driggers Auto Sales sells used automobiles and used car parts, and operates a towing service.

Driggers was charged with two counts of sexual battery. He was booked at Rutherford County Sheriffs Office jail. His bond was set at $5,000. His initial court date is scheduled for June 30 at 8 a.m. in Rutherford County General Sessions Court.
