Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

  You can get into the Frist Center for Visual Arts Sunday June 8th.   Operation Stand Down is putting on a free day with exhibits that focus on healing from war.    Just print Operation Stand Down's coupon right here and take it with you.

    For the Memorial Day Holiday, you can enjoy some free patriotic tunes.   This is the Nashville Community Concert Band which is performing at one oclock at Nashville National Veterans Cemetery in Madison.   It's part of the yearly Memorial Day program.
   The Nashville Community Concert Band also has other free concerts scheduled from  1-2 o'clock Sunday at  State Veterans Cemetery on McCrory Lane, then Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens Highway at 3:30pm Sunday.  
     The Middle Tennessee Fiber Fest is in town again!  It's all day Saturday at the Dickson County Fairgrounds.   You'll see rabbits, sheep, goats and learn how their fur is used to  make clothes and other supplies.
