Stream WZTV Fox 17 Newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 5am and News at 9pm.

LEBANON, Tenn.-- The man accused of killing his in-laws with an explosive device appeared in a Wilson County court today for his preliminary hearing.
The trial for Richard Parker has been set for October 28th.

Parker is accused of killing Jon and Marian Setzer in their Lebanon home after an explosive device was activated. Jon Setzer was killed at the time of the explosion but Marian was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital where she eventually died from her injuries.

Before his arrest, Parker was among those sitting at Marian's bedside while she was in critical condition. Fox 17 discovered Parker was a Sunday School teacher at Nashville's First Church of the Nazarene, which only furthered the community's shock once details of his arrest were made public.
