A curfew also is in effect starting today by the county from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Governor Bill Haslam will survey the damage. At least 25 homes and one school are destroyed.

Power outages still hamper over 3,000 customers in the county as of Tuesday night.

Lincoln County Schools and Fayetteville City Schools remain closed Wednesday.

Volunteers that want to aid in the clean-up will have to check in at the Park City Baptist Church where they will be given a wristband.
